BIO



I hold a BA in Architecture obtained at the Ensam of Montpellier, Fr
ance in 2008 where I held the position of assistant at the PhotoVideoLAB of the school. In that period, I focused on the topic of participation in the public domaine.
Moving to Berlin in 2008 I completed my practical internship at the architecture agency RAUMLABOR

In 2011, I co-founded the artists run space “der Kanal” in Berlin, Neukölln and co-curated a serie of events entitled “How do I....”. In that periode, my research on the topic of collective memory shifting from Architecture to Fine Arts included the use of soft materials, the elaboration of tools and the developement of sculptural installations in the public spac. 

I subsequently entered the Fashion program in 2011 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp lead by Walter Van Beirendonck. I developed knowledge in the many crafts of Fashion, involving pattern making, sewing, textile, graphics, ceramics and knitcraft. My subjects in the field were of one’s root and the expressions of Love. I specialized throughout my studies in the knitcraft and worked from 2014 to 2019 as a fashion designer in companies such as Dries Van Noten, Christian Wijnants, and LNKnits. 

Starting 2017, I actively persued several collaboration projects relating to Generosity in the public and private domain. I engaged in collaborative work in the field of art, with performers, theater groups, designers. I also intervened as knitwear specialist, guest teaching at the Royal Academy of Arts in Den Haag in the Netherlands, and at the Art Academy of Sint Nilkaas in Belgium.
 
Starting September 2022, I entend to start a reseach project with the Royal Academy of Antwerp on the topic of the Gift.
This project is at the intersection of an academic research and an artistic practice. It will be the object of seminars, workshops, talks and a publication.
