Throughout my practice I made objects.
First, I made objects as a means to represent my thoughts and to communicate. I made objects to understand a situation and to get clarity out of this reality. I also made objects to resist time, as to bear witness and outlive a moment. I made objects to create wholeness and connection, they create dailogue. Making objects always informed my attitude towards a necessity.
Recently I recognise in my practice, how the presence of objects deals with gestures of giving, they are objects that seek the other. These gestures lead me to question the notion of the gift in my artistic work. Which is located in my way of doing things, of placing and folding love in it, with methods, awareness, and care. For the space it creates.
